Gemco Valve and their local partners Neumann Automation, will be attending Miconex, (Multinational Instrumentation Conference and Exhibition) in Beijing, August 30-September 2, 2011. More than 600 companies will be represented at this year’s conference in the China International Exhibition Center. Gemco Valve is one of a handful of American companies to be exhibiting.
President, Jim Lenihan will be in attendance to demonstrate Gemco Valve’s latest products including the sanitary K valve and the high performance P21 valve.
Since 1983, Miconex, the leading show in the field of instrumentation, automation, measurement and control technology, has been a joint effort. The international conference is co-sponsored by Instrument Society of America (ISA), Institute of Measurement and Control of U.K (M&C), Society of Instrument and Control Engineers of Japan (SICE),United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
Conference organizer, China Instrument and Control Society (CIS) is the leading academic organization in the field in China. The annual exhibition brings together industry leaders and providers of the latest technology solutions.
Gemco Valve’s decision to make this investment of resources is based on their partner Neumann Automation’s recommendation during Mr. Lenihan’s visit to Shanghai earlier this year. “Gemco Valve is very interested in expanding our reach in the global marketplace and with Asia being such a major player, this conference offers us opportunities and contacts we can’t get by email, phone or even the via web,” Lenihan said.
