The arrival of Hurricane Irene prevented Gemco Valve President, Jim Lenihan from making his planned trip to the Multinational Instrumentation Conference and Exhibition in China. However, thanks to local partners, Neumann Automation, Gemco Valve was still among the more than 600 companies represented at Miconex, last month in Beijing.
“We were disappointed Jim’s flight got canceled, but the booth stayed very busy. We had many people interested in Gemco Valve’s products, especially those companies involved in Si and SiO2 production and coal chemical processing,” reported Jenny Cai of Neumann Automation.
“We’re already fielding inquiries from several companies who saw our valves at Miconex, I am looking forward to developing our business with our Chinese friends.” said Jim Lenihan, Gemco Valve President.
